Identify a research question from your professional life or research interests that could be addressed by a one-way ANOVA. Indicate why a one-way ANOVA would be an appropriate analysis for this research question. Describe the predictor variable and levels (groups), as well as the outcome variable and its associated measurement scale. Articulate the null hypothesis. Discuss the expected outcome of the one-way ANOVA.   My research question would be; out of a group of diagnoised scitzophrenics, how many want their family and/or friends to be involved in his or her treatment. My expectation is not many.

    9. Formulate an applicable research (i.e., substantive) question that would use a one-way analysis of variance. In describing your research question specify the following. a) the dependent variable; b) the independent variable and the k levels (i.e., the k treatment conditions or the k populations); and c) the null and alternative hypotheses in symbolic and text forms.

Consider the following scenario. You conduct a RCBD ANOVA test and calculate a test statistic of 3.48 for your primary research question. You had 6 different treatment groups, and 5 levels of your blocking variable. What would be the most correct conclusion to come to using a significance level of 5%? O A. Reject the null hypothesis since the p value is greater than 0.05 and conclude that at least one of the treatment group means are different to the...

Research is an integral part of all professional fields. Designing a research study can be a complicated task that can be simplified if the appropriate techniques can be identified. This assignment will give you the opportunity to design an experiment, including finding relevant prior research, determining the appropriate sample, data analysis techniques, and discuss the results you hope to see. Working from the topic chosen earlier in the topic selection, you will be designing your own statistical study. In a...
