1. Mononucleosis is also called as Mono or kissing disease caused by Epstain Barr Virus.People in teenage to adult from 15 to 30 years may get this.The main route of transmission is through an infected saliva or bodily fluid exposure. The incubation period is about 1 month to 1 and half month.The symptoms settles down in about months probably between 1 to 3 months. This can cause symptoms like mild fever,sore throat,swollen nodes in the neck, groin.The chance of getting a second time infection is less.It generally needs simple treatment like pain management, rest,adequate fluid replacements. Complications are rare.

2.The disease is contagious and spread easily via saliva,so donor engage in any intimate kissing ,do not share utensils or brush.This is highly contagious so to avoid these activities during incubation period.
