Ordered digoxin= 3 mcg/kg IV in 2 doses

Patient's weight= 83.3 kg

As per weight of patient required order will be=249.9 mcg

= 250mcg in two doses

For single dose= 125 mcg

Available Digoxin= 500 mcg/2ml

Means 250 mcg /ml

Hence for one dose i.e. 125 mcg required ml= 125/250= 0.5 ml
