A shelf is being designed to hold crates having a total mass of 1840 kg. Two support rods like that shown in Figure will hold the shelf. Assume that the center of gravity of the crates is at the middle of the shelf. Specify the required diameter of the circular rods to limit the stress to 110 MPa.
