In 2012, the pharmaceutical industry spent more than $ 27 million on marketing to physicians and that 84% of U.S physicians and that 84% of U.S physicians reported receiving drug samples, payments, meals, other gifts and/or travel from the pharmaceutical industry.

Physicians have gradually started to question the ethics and integrities of such interactions as well as the impact drug representative visits have on their prescribing habits and on patient's health.

One of the core element in the ethical principles of medicine is the Doctor-Patient relationship (DPR)

The doctor-patient relationship will be usually developed when a physician starts to meet the patient medical needs via, check-up, diagnosis, and treatment.

An aesthetic doctor has to pick up the hands-on injection or laser skills by getting lots of practice.

The physicians who are doing the procedure over and over again, and by attending workshops and training sessions, their skills and experience improve over time.

Some of the doctors who are practicing /offering aesthetic practices or procedures combine their practice with general practice.

A good number of aesthetic doctors offer skin disease consultation and treatment, as skin disease or condition tend to go hand in hand with aesthetic procedures.

Modern folks nowadays want to look young fresh and rejuvenated, so they will look for professionals who can help them turn back the hands of time.
