Observe the communication behaviors of the positional leader ( office manager). How do the other group members respond to these persons’ leadership? Are there other members of the group who seem to be influential? Which of the five behaviors associated with emergent leadership do they display? Have students write a 2- to 3-page analysis.

Following is the observation relating behaviors of positional leader :-

1. Likes two way communication = often it has been observed that office managers or positional leader try to establish twobway communication so that they can explain each and every queries can be solved and work can be performed effectively.

2. Communicates clear and concise message = The message conveyed by them tends to be clear cut. It has a concise meaning so that it doesn't not leads to any unnecessary confusion .

3 . Full of energy = The energy in their communication is a thing to be noted. They communicate message with a great enthusiasm.

4 . Motivates their subordinates = They try to motivate their subordinates through their communication which help other staff member to work with their full energy.

5. Takes feedback = It is often observed that they try to take feedback from their audience on the message being communicated. This helps them to solve any query or any point of confusion and to bring any sort of improvement in them , if possible.

Other group members take their leadership in a very positive manner and try to implement whatever being communicate by top leadership into their actions .

Yes, there are also other members who seems to be quite influential . They display a great positive attitude among themselves. They are very quick in decision making and have a great intellectual level and problem solving skills among them . They display following behaviour associated with emergent leadership's :-

1. Deliver consistent and collective results = those emerging leaders not only assume personal responsibility for achieving outcome but they also works effectively with other members of the team to ensure that collective results are being delivered.

2. Active meeting contributor = Those emerging leaders are active participants and contributors to the meeting. They are well prepared , they have their point of view, they have solutions for the problems that are creating obstacles.
