Ans. Carrying Cost under Option 1.

Annual Demand- 1800 x (6 x 52) = 561,600 units

Therefore, Annual carrying cost- 561,600 bottles x $0.8 per bottle x $0.2 per bottle = $89,856

Carrying Cost under Option 2.

Annual Demand- 1800 x (6 x 52) = 561,600 units

Therefore, Annual carrying cost- 561,600 bottles x $1 per bottle x $0.2 per bottle = $112,320
