I always forget to clamp and unclamp IV tubing & I always forget to prime it...

I always forget to clamp and unclamp IV tubing & I always forget to prime it & rid my syringes of air.. how can I remember to do this everytime?

When air bubbles enter the vein causes air embolism and when enter the artery causes arterial embolism.these air bubbles travel to lungs heart and brain causing a heart attack , stroke or respiratory failure. Air embolism is life threatening complication. We must be very careful whileclamping andunclamping tha iv tunings and priming line.practice it in free time practice with syringe multiple times. And also with iv set.

so look at your patients life. Try to keep remember to do the things.. after some initial effort you will start remembering the process every time.after that u will do it effortlessly
