RFP is also known as request for proposal. It is the document send by the company interested in procurements of goods, services, devices or equipments to the suitable sellers asking for the the business proposal. It can be sent over the email or as a hard copy.

The main elements requested or asked in RFP are:

1. The information about the company, its history and licence
2. Brief information about the employees
3. Information about the services provided by the company
4. Information manual or PDF about the goods or services to be purchased
5. User manual of goods
6. Pricing and available discounts on the service
7. Transportation facilities
8. Estimated completion period of the order to be placed
9. Last date to send the business proposal

The three most important things to be requested include

• The company information and financial condition because accredeted companies holding good market reputation are more reliable
• Product information about its use and the technology installed in it - to check whether the service or good meets the demand and is user friendly
• Servicing of the goods or ewuipments - it is important to have regular servicing of equipments to ensure longer life
