Recently, the CEO has been hearing complaints from both patients and staff. You have been hired to design and implement a Quality Improvement Plan to help uncover quality problems and satisfactorily resolve them.

The Public Information Officer for Chaparral Regional Hospital as contacted you requesting information for the employee newsletter. In particular, she would like you to write a short article with an accompanying infographic detailing the role and importance of the patient experience when working towards quality improvement.

PATIENT EXPERIENCE :

Patient experience can be viewed as providing qualitative care to patients by health care providers and getting reviews about the quality care reviews from patient for betterment of health care services. Receiving experiences from patients can make a great change in developing the health status of institutions.

ROLE AND IMPORTANCE OF PATIENT EXPERIENCE IN HEALTH CARE :

While providing care to the patients health care department role is to give a qualitative care to patients in curing of disease conditions. Same as that patients are having their own right to evaluate and express their opinions on health care experience in their own words in the form of their experience.

The roles and Importance of patient experience are described as follows :

* Providing of right treatment to patient in a right way

* Positive patient experiences makes better health outcomes.

* Includes lower Readmission rates of patients

* Patient positive experience can improve hospital reputation.

* Involves patients decision making process, and can achieve expected outcomes.

* Patient experience involves PATIENT -CENTERED CARE

When a patient experience is in a positive way than in a negative way. can highlight the hospital and health care sectors. While providing patient care, some hospitals provide feed back form to patients where hey have fill their experience regarding overall treatment can help an organization to improve their health care facilities and utilization of resources for providing qualitative health care services to patients.
