problems.

ANSWER: Despite the historical forces running against unions, it will be short-sighted to reach a conclusion that current labor laws are obsolete. For most of the workers, unions are still the sole means of insuring a fair shake. Even for nonunionized workers, the unionization threat encourages management to maintain high labor standards. If the US had no federal laws regulating labor, the conditions in this nation would like fall to those of developing nations in order for businesses for the maximization of profit with cheaper labor. Labor laws protects workers from poor labor conditions; or working in unhealthy or dangerous or environments with little safety procedures or protocols in place to protect their health. The government has been progressively enacting laws to protect the rights of employees because in majority cases it results to employee abuse. The labor laws are made to benefit the employees as well as the employers. The current labor law in United States also applies the same approach. Moreover US government fights to respect the workers’ rights in the country irrespective of their residential statuses in the nation. Current labor laws and regulations are enough in dealing with labor- management problems
