Answer #1

As often noted misrepresntation of product features and promises can lead to lawsuits. To avoid this, the followings practices shall be followed:-

1) Clear description of product ingredients and ensuring whether such ingredient is permissible to use under law. Clear cut mention of the same on labelling and branding stickers will enable the company to win trust of the customer

2) Company should make the customer aware if their product is a herbal product and potency of such product. This will not only attract market share from herbal buyers but also ensure transperency

3) While creativity is important, it is very important to ensure that images for advertisement are not copied from other manufacturer to avoid any copyright infringement issues

4) Creativity while marketing should not come at cost of abuse of a competitor brand rather focus should be on highlighting peculiar things about own product

5) Always ensure that customer feedback, even if adverse, should be redressed. Instead of suppressing it, highlight the same as a WIN under customer satisfaction survey as done by a few automobile companies
