During some instances, overeating of junk foods, fatty rich foods, and fast foods can lead to obesity and can show the symptoms of gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Irritable bowel syndrome.

In some cases, many of the diseases and illness such as celiac diseases may lead to the interference with the body getting its nutritional requirements.

Some other conditions may also impair with the process of digestion that may lead to imbalance nutrition that may alter overall health such as food allergies, stomach ulcers, gastritis cancer etc.

The prevalence rate of irritable bowel syndrome is 10-15%.
