Answer: The three dietary factors that put Hanna at risk for iron deficiency are:

  • No consumption of meat.
  • Drinking excess of iced tea
  • Intake of dairy products more than other foods

Hanna should eliminate or minimise the intake of tea as it reduces the absorption of the iron as well as she should add iron rich vegetables in her diet such as spinach.
