Secondly oxygen therapy should be given if airway is damaged
Thirdly management of body temperature to prevent hypothermia because rapid fluid or saline infusion can cause hypothermia .
Tetanus is to be given as per doctors order.
In case of airway obstruction child should put on ventilator.
Burn injured are should be covered with silver ex lignocaine(2%) dressing to reduce burning sensation with sterile gauze pieces and analgesic should be given to reduce pain.
There are many types of burn especially are-
First degree burn-. In this type only outer layer of skin (epidermis) is injured and it appears as red ,not blistered,dry.
Second degree burn- in this type both epidermis and dermis layers are involved and appears as blistered,swollen,painful.
Third degree burn- in this type epidermis dermis, subcutaneous tissue are involved and area appears as a whitish,blackened .
Fourth degree burn- in this type epidermis,dermis, subcutaneous tissue ,bone and muscle layers are involved and burn area doesn't have any Pain sensation as because nerve endings are damaged.
Chemical burn- due to any chemical substances like acid,
Electrical burn- from electric source.,like lighting
There are mainly two types of skin graft,
Split thickness skin graft where only outer layer of the skin or epidermis is removed for grafting,
Full thickness grafting where epidermis and dermis both layers are removed for use for skin grafting.
