Calculate the time of day when the patient will reach the maximum rate of infusion if the infusion was stated at 8 AM. (5 points)

Ans) Dopamine: 300 mg in 1000 ml D5W

Infusion stayed at 8am: Infusion 0.3 mg/ min for 20 mins

8:20 am: increasing the rate 0.15 mg/every 30 mins i.e. 0.30+0.15= 0.45mg/min

8:50am: 0.45+0.15= 0.60 mg/min

9:20am: 0.60+0.15= 0.75mg/min

9:50am: 0.75+0.15= 0.9mg/min

If the maximum rate is 0.9mg/min so answer is at 9:50am, the patient will reach the maximum rate of Infusion
