A leadership that causes changes in individuals and social systems is called a transformational leadership . A transformational leader helps the followers to increase their motivation, morale their by Job performance and it may results in the growth of individuals and the organization itself.
What makes a good leader
There are various qualities that a person need to become a good leader. Having faith and confidence in their own ideas and having confidence in followers should be there for a good leader. To achieve the confidence in followers a good leader has to motivate and listen them properly. Strong communication skills, Optimism, passion and commitment, clear vision and mission, democracy and courage are unavoidable qualities of a Good leader.
Leadership style perceived by others.
A democratic leadership style involves the practices like tacking all the opinions into consideration, and making decisions based on follower's input. Delagation of responsibilities equally to the followers also an another task in democratic leadership.
Adapting some values for the work environment is beneficial for the profession. Some of the values that can apply in the work environment are:
