Professional associations contribute to lifelong learning because the nurses have access to continuing education, specialty journals, and conferences. According to Capella University, "these are critical to continuing competency, which in turn can lead to better patient, systems, and personal career outcomes. Associations can provide opportunities for online certification, which can make achieving those certifications less complicated for working nurses” (CU, 2019). You also have many experts in the organizations that have a variety of knowledge in different fields of nursing to learn from. The nursing career is lifelong learning because every year new studies are proven to better care for patients of all diseases and disorders. My goal for lifelong is to continue education in the field with new and upcoming evidence based practices.
Based on the above post we can formulate the below question. Because the post contains how the professional associations plays a role in making the nurses competent enough. And the post explaining about the benefits for nurses by professional association.
