Using terms and concepts that you have learned in this course, examine 8 aspects of your own diet, and explain any changes you may or may not make. My diet pattern per day involves more amount of carbohydrates.

  • Currently I am not drinking milk, and I should make a habit of drinking milk as it gives calcium and recovers me from bone aches.
  • I take more amount of Rice, which should be reduced .As high carbohydrates making me look obese.
  • I hardly eat fruits so from now I will start eating more amount of different kinds of fruits which are very rich in vitamins and minerals and also various kinds of antioxidants.
  • I hate green leafy vegetables. But green leaves reduces the risk of obesity and heart attacks as they are rich in vitamins, minerals and also fibre rich.
  • I like to eat highly fried foods, which are not good for health.Eating such foods leads to Diabetes, heart attacks and obesity.So I need to stop eating fried items.
  • I like to drink more carbonated beverages which increases the risk of cancer, liver damage diabetes heart attack, causes pre mature births at. So getting aware of these things I decided to stop drinking them.
  • I would like to take more amount of dry fruits which is actually necessary for the body which consists of more amount of antioxidants and fibre.There is no need to change this habit.
  • I used to take more amount of fluids specially water.This is good to maintain fluid balance and to maintain hydration.Thus there is no need to change this habit.
