Answer #1

Answer: Educating patient is important. The teaching requires specific consideration. For example in the case of renal healthcare concern, the patient should be explained care as:

  1. Reduce the intake of sodium( salt)
  2. Drink sufficient amount of water.
  3. Avoid consumption of alcohol and quit smoking..
  4. Eat healthy foods such as green vegetables.
  5. Avoid oily foods as well as fat containing items.
  6. Indulge in physical activities.

The adult can easily understand the things and plan of care. They follow the instruction. But in the case of child, it is important to teach their parents to reduce the health disparities. While conversation with child, easy language should be indulge in teaching.

In the case where english is not a preferred language, it is important to provide cultural competence environment to the patient so know about the language the patient can understand easily.
