Effects:
HIV weakens the immune system and allow the virus enter into body
with the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, respiratory
issues, kidney damage, fever, chills and flu-like symptoms,
anxiety, depression, nerve damage, seizures,weight loss, fatigue,
tongue lesions, cough and pulmonary infections, coordination
problem, swollen lymph glands, congestive heart failure,skin sores,
bumps in the skin, muscle and joint pain, diarrhea, vulnerable to
infection, hypertension, skin disorder, shingles.
Treatment:
Antiretroviral therapy drugs work to prevent HIV from destroying
and reproducing CD4 cells. Drugs like non-nucleotide reverse
transcriptase inhibitors and nucleoside or nucleotide reverse
transcriptase inhibitors, protease inhibitors, fusion inhibitors,
and integrase inhibitors stop the entry of HIV to CD4 cells and
inactivate the HIV virus.
Monitor the CD4 cells counts every three to six months.
Health care providers help HIV people for taking this regimen every
day. blood tests every 3-6 months are recommended to determine the
CD4 buildup.
Education to HIV person to prevent transmission of HIV with safer
sex using condoms and protective devices, HIV test for their
partner, having one partner and follow-up HIV medications.
Post-exposure prophylaxis to reduce the risk of HIV with
antiretroviral medication for 28 days. provide support to this
person with emotional concerns. followup with healthy habits and
medication adherence can help prevent HIV from AIDS progression. we
choose this over others to prevent HIV infection.
