There are many ways that an environmental infectious disease can be transmitted to a host. Describe the differences between vectorborne diseases and zoonotic diseases. What type of infectious disease is associated with each of these categories?

Vector borne diseases are those diseases in which the organism gets infected and then it transmits the infection to the organism, by biting of mosquito, ticks and fleas.

Eg: Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya and Rocky Mountain Fever etc.

But

In case of zoonotic Disease it is transmitted from animals to the human.

Eg: Rabies, Anthrax and Brucellosis
