Public health : it is defined as it is a complete physical, mental, social, spiritual, emotional well being of an people who are living in community or in public, by providing medical care with in the community or outside setting of the hospital and the efforts to prevention of epidemics and improve the health of total nation.

Various fields of public health :

Community health, environmental health, global health, maternal and child health, biostatistics and informations, epidemiology, health policy and management, social behavioural health, minorities and disparities.

These are the different fields of public health.

These are fields all interdependent on one by one.

* environmental health is very important to maintain normal healthy lifestyle of an individual or people.

* if environmental pollution may leads to diseases may come to the public.

Forexample water pollution leads to water washed diseases and water related diseases like diarrhea, skin rashes etc.

* so if environmental health is good all community health also will be improved.

* maternal and child health should be improved by adequate nutritional diet and good environmental health and social and behavioral health.

* if the social cultural beliefs are good, health of the people also good, they must have to reduce their stress and anxiety so that the health status of mother and baby is well automatically the community health may increases.

* so the social and behavioral health also interdependent with public health.

* Epidemiology is very important to maintain public health, because in these we will see the distribution and determinants of health related events and problems of an population and application of those study on public problems in order to improve health status of population.

* so this epidemiology we can study the population problems.

* after study we will do the analysis of problems of an population and by using biostatistics and Informatics we can estimate the problem status of the population and by using that we can plan the health care activities or services, which will be used to reduce the population health problems and to useful to improve health of the population.

* and it is useful to do researches and used like as evidence based practices.

* health policies and management are useful to promote health care services and provide at available and affordable cost services to the public.

* at last finally minorities and disparities means providing health care services at culturally acceptable and who are not having capacity to get full services for them the public health management may provide the needed services at remort areas also

So with out having one on another we can not provide comprehensive public health care to the public.

So these are public health fields are interdependent one on another.

Public health microbiology :

It is defined as the identification of microorganisms in the human, animal, food, water, and environment in order to diagnose the health condition of the public rather than individual.

For example due to contamination of well water whole community people may get gastrointestinal problems.

* so that time we can use public health microbiology, to identify microorganisms in well water, and environmental microbiology we will use here.

* for total community people it can applicable.

* Coming to medical microbiology is defined as it is a field of science and to identification of microorganisms in the human beings in order to provide diagnosis, treatment and management and preventive care for particular microorganisms which are caused for unhealthy level of human beings due to environment effect on individual health.

* it is applicable for an particular or exact person in hospital settings.

* so that we can differ the public health microbiology with medical microbiology.
