Answer: Nurse plays an important role in the patient's life. The safe administration of the drug includes the drug that should be administered properly such as orally, IV, IM. The nurse should monitor and administer drug carefully to the patient.

Prior the administration of the drug, nurse should check the patient's medical history and the allergies. Because these things should be noted before giving the drug to that patients to avoid any drug interactions or side effects.

Nurse should monitor every 2-3 hours about the improvement in health of the patient so as to notice the proper drug functioning. Nurse should evaluate and prevent any kind of adverse effects by monitoring the changes or any kind of abnormal symptoms occurs during the drug administration.

If any kind of serious problem occurs, nurse should immediately call the physician as well as the random and proper precautions and first line treatment should be give. Nurse should educate the patient about health and how to take care of themselves. They must also include about the proper intake of medication and Healthy diet.
