1) Zappos uses digital media toolssuch as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Youtube, and Pinterest to reach current and potential customers. The cross promote across all these platforms. They also use promotions like “Fan of the Week Contests” and photo contests get customers excited about Zappos.
2) Zappos encourages word-of-mouth marketing by personally interacting with customers by changing the business to customer experience. They wanted customers to be able to reach out at any time and share their experiences
3) Zappos specialize in making the relationship between the customer and business as human as possible. They want to make the experience a personal feel for them to feel comfortable and making customers want to do business with Zappos.
