Indication - Blood glucose monitor, Suspected Diabetes
Nursing Intervention - 1. Ensure that you are taking blood in an empty stomach
2. Take proper major (Disinfect the area, explain the procedure to a patient) during taking blood for Investigation.
Complication - Bleeding from puncture area
Patient education - Tel patient to check for bleeding from the puncture area.
2. BUN (Blood urea Nitrogen)
Indication - kidney disease, GI bleeding, Dehydration, Liver disease, Urinary obstruction
