Answer #1

Cost of child birth in US Is not cheaper. An average cost may be ranging from 10000 dollars to higher. Whether it is vaginal birth or c section cost varies depending upon the way you live. Room Nd board may cost upto 5000 dollars. The nursing and the doctor fees charges more than 10000 in the city hospitals. Those hospitals have charge masters which shows the fixed prices for all the services. A c section usually costs about 50 percent more than a typical vaginal delivery. New born baby care after a normal delivery charges about 5000 plus dollars. At the same time newborn baby charge after c section charges double the amount of normal delivery. An average cost for prenatal, intrapartum and post partum care after c section may be 32000 where as in a vaginal delivery it is 22000. Intrapartum care costs about 24000 and 16000 for c section and vaginal delivery respectively. C section fees is higher fees because baby will be born in a operating room and needs proper care. Always make sure to ask if anything is optional or not.
