1.He has been taking medication for hypertension since 5 years.

2.Yes,his father had a history of high blood presure.

3.He is on amlodipine 5 mg.Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker .doctor has advised him to take it for once in a day after checking blood presure.

He is also taking furosemide 20 mg once a day.so that it can remove extra water and salt from the body which will lead to relax blood vessel and reduce presure.

4.Medication is vital to control blood presure.so,it is very important to take medicines according to the prescription.Exercise and diet is also assist to redu e it to a great extend.Follow up is the other factor to check the condition of the patient.

5.i have given health education on healthy diet plan.he has been advised to avoid table salt from food.Spicy and oily food should be avoided.Include more fruits and vegetables in his diet.advise him to do light exercises a d avoid vigorous activities.
