US has faced mental health crisis in recent past. The rate of mental health issues and cases are reported widely in increased number in last few decades than never before. This is considered as mental health crisis.

The treatment of mental health in US is considered to be under major crisis for now, this is due to reduced availibility of human resources and services, lack of awareness and social stigma. It is considered that these factors presents as major barriers for providing mental health treatment.

Social stigma becomes the major discriminatory factor and element to ensure such crisis in US society today. Society is unaware of mental health and behavior towards the sick individual makes them less efficient to access services and promote health and quality of life.

The major crisis in US recently is seen in Hawaai, Menisota and New york.
