●Nurses are one of the most important professionals in the healthcare field. Public perceive nurses to be simply a follower of the providers order,they look upon the basic needs of an sick individual, they help in eating ,bathing, mobilization, administering medication, etc., In simple they carry the treatment order of a doctor. The patients certainly have a different perception of the nurse because they would have personally encountered them .They perceive them to be an advocate for them and communicate on behalf of them, knowledgeable,working long housd but with slow salary.

●They are depicted in media as an assistant to a provider, they do the basic care of the patient. In simple they were described in a demeaning way.The type of nursing image which could be promoted is depicting nurses as the heart of care and how they work by identifying the most nook and corner of patient problems and providing intervention. A

●The nurses who are wearing the traditional white uniforms are considered to be highly educated and professional. It creates a trust and respect on them.

●Clothing is always an important part when it comes public because ths professionalism of an individual is decided, predicted by others first by seeing their image
