Answer: The major difference between whole grain and refined grain is that the whole grain contains complete kernels such as endosperm, brand etc. The whole grain contains high amount of fibre, nutrients as well as vitamin B. Whereas the refined grain doesn't contains brandbrand, they are free from any type of mixture. They don't contain high amount of nutrients.

The examples of whole grain:

  • Wheat flour
  • Brown bread

The monosaccharides are form of simple sugar which can not be hydrolyzed further to any simpler chemical compounds. The examples of monosaccharides are:

  • Glucose
  • Fructose
  • Galactose

Dissacharides are formed by the two monosaccharides linked by glycoside. The example are:

  • Sucrose
  • Lactose
  • Maltose.

The danger of low carbohydrates and high protein diet involves as carbohydrates provides energy to the body and hence when there will be low amount of carbohydrates will present it will cause:

  • Muscles weakness
  • Dehydration
  • Skin rash
  • Confusion
  • Chronic illness.

The intake of high protein causes toxicity in the liver, or it may also damage the liver permanently.
