  • high intake of nuts:

nuts are dense in calorie. it is high in fat and low in water. so including unlimited quantity of nuts may lead to weight gain however cholesterol level may also increase.

  • high intake of yoghurt:

yoghurt with added flavour or sugar is the main contributing factor for weight gain than plain yoghurt. pure yoghurt is high protein food, so it contributes a feeling of fullness, helps to maintain or lose weight.

  • high intake of potatoes

extra servings of potatoes for a long time in any means can increase weight. (calorie dense food)

  • high intake of whole grains

whole grains are fibre rich, healthy, plant protein, vitamins and minerals.helps to control blood sugar, low-density cholesterol and to maintain body weight .fibre content contributes a feeling of fullness.

so from the four choices, nuts and potatoes contribute to weight gain, but nuts in large quantities increase blood cholesterol level. thus potatoes are more positive for weight gaining, especially in cooked form.
