Initial dose= 3 mg/ day

0.5 mg increased per day for 2 weeks means increase of 7 mg at the end of 14 days . So, total dose = 3 mg + 7 mg= 10 mg.

By the end of 2 weeks, the maximum dose will be= 10 mg per day.
