Answer #1

The person who was in need of the 3500 kcal more than 40% should be obtained from the carbohydrate. Carbohydrate has an energy yield of 4kcal per gram, so the person must have 1400 kcal from carbohydrate, and he must take 350g of carbohydrate diet. It can be any thing should be available in the local area like wheat, rice or maze etc. The protein requirement for a person is 0.36g per pound, so it will be around 81g for this person. So, he should take any protein containing food like pea or other forms of vegetable or he can meat, egg etc for meeting the protein requirement of the day. The protein should give him an energy of around 324kcal so the total became approximately 1750kcal, so the other 1750 can be obtained from the fat, the fat has energy out put of 9kcal per gram so for obtaining the 1750kcal the required amount of fat will be 194g, so he can take all these diet in divided doses. Also the micronutrients, minerals should be added to the diet as per the requirement of the body. The should have more vegetables and fruit and adequate amount of protein is a must for this kind work.
