-- HEALTHY MEAL COOKING SESSION FOR PREGNANT WOMEN AND BREAST FEEDING MOTHERS ARE:

-- Pregnancy is one of the beautiful time in a women's life, because it is the condition that a new person is growing inside you.

-- The pregnant women's need 350- 500 extra amount of calories during the second and third trimester.And skipping the food will negatively affect the baby.

-- It is very important to eat many good and healthy foods especially during the pregnancy.Some of the highly nutritious foods that should be included are: Fruits,Nuts,seeds,legumes ,fresh leafy vegetables,Dairy products, fish(salmon) and eggs.

-- The dairy products are the good source for calcium and proteins and which helps to produce large amount of B vitamins,Phosphorus,Zinc and magnesium.This helps to meet the needs for the developing fetus.

-- The legumes include peanuts,soybean,peas,lentils,beans and chickpeas.The legumes are the good source of protein, folate(B9), fiber, iron and calcium.All these things are needed for a women during pregnancy.

-- Sweet potatoes contain beta carotene and which is a vitamin A product which helps in the differentiation of cells and tissues.This is important for the development of fetus.

-- Salmon is good in omega-3 fatty acids.This helps to make up the brain and eyes of fetus.And also it is one of the source for vitamin D.

-- Eggs contains almost all the nutrients, so it is a good way to elevate total nutrient intake.It also contain choline which is good for the fetal brain health development.

-- Broccoli and green vegetables like spinach contain many nutrients.It contain fiber,Vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C calcium and iron.Helps in developing immune system and digestion.

-- Grains helps the pregnant women to get high calorie requirements.The grains contain fibers and vitamins.

-- Water is most important drink that should be taken in a high amount to make the body hydrated.o

-- The foods that helps to increase the production of breast milk are : Oatmeal,Garlic,spinach,carrot,Green papaya, fenugreek fennel, salmon and nuts.

-- Oatmeal contain large amount of iron which helps to increase Red Blood Cell count in the blood and leads to the increased production of breast milk.

-- Garlic is one of the important food that can increase the breast milk production and helps the babies suffering from colic.

-- Carrot is source of vitamin A and helps in lactation.

-- Spinach is a good source of iron which helps to avoid the food-borne illness.

-- Nuts produces serotonin which helps in milk production.
