In today's world intranet is most important for a firm for internal communication which is highly secured and protected.

Now CIO want list of function and intranet should be useful to staff, management and medical staff.

List of function is as follows

1. Intranet should be well secured with password and ID.

2. Intranet is not accessible to the external party.

3. Ii has a strong security for spam and viruses

4. One general folder is to be given to everyone so that they can save data on that and access anywhere in premises on computer.

5. Internet facility shall be given to only manager level staff and it is restricted to use social website like chatting and other.

6. On internet one can not send the third party mail as it is threat to organization to leak information.

7. One more applicated folder should be provided for high level staff.

8. Third party incoming mail is only accessible on manager level staff.

9. Training and most important communication link also provided on intranet so that it become useful for everyone.
