A plan is made for decreasing the childhood injuries by the nurses in my community and it includes the following steps :-

- First analysis of the causes which are leading to childhood injuries like improper care by parents , accidents etc

- Then assess the area ,age etc who are affected the more like toddlers , slum areas etc

- Set the goals and objectives like to decrease childhood injuries etc .

- Plan the interventions to be implemented

- Implementation of the interventions like providing health education on how to prevent childhood injuries , how to provide first aid etc

- Evaluation of the interventions implemented based on the baseline data and finding the difference .

# Epidemiology - is the study of the distribution and determinants of the health and disease in a specific population .

# The nursing process - is the systematic guide to provide client oriented care to the patients . It includes five steps :-

- Assessment

- Diagnosis

- Planning

- Intervention

- Evaluation

# Critical thinking - is the ability to think in a systematic and logical manner openness to question and reflect on the reasoning process used to ensure safe nursing practice and quality care .

# Evidence -based practice - is the application of evidences from the outcomes of research in nursing practice to provide patient oriented quality care .
