What do you think is more important prevention or treatment and why? Explain your response in detail.
In my opinion the prevention is better than the cure. Thats why there is a good focus on health promotion and disease prevention in US health care system because the preventive care helps the people to stay healthy and if there is any change in the health status they can earlier approach for the treatment rather wait for development of chronic or severe disease, as preventive healthcare include various periodical routine primary health screening services.
Furthermore various health promotion programmes increase the health awareness in theUS population. Thus it significantly reduces the overall medical expenses in the US healthcare system. Henceit is proved that the prevention is better than the cure.
