Answer: Due to increased diversity in the population it is necessary to provide quality of care to the patient. For the quality of care, a culturally competent environment is required so that the patient can feel comfortable. It is necessary to have effective communication with the patients which includes proper gestures, empathy etc.
If the US will not provide cultural competence environment to the Patients then there will be low outcome and poor satisfaction level of the patient. There will be decrease in the quality of care provided to the patient as they require safe environment.
