What are the major factors for cardiovascular disease in the US from perspectives of incidence, prevalence and death rate when using figures from the US government sources.

What is one example of a modifiable risk factor related to cardiovascular disease, plus one example of a non-modifiable risk factor related to cardiovascular disease??

Cardiovascular disease is the most prevalent disease of US

The African American have 12.3% of CVD,nearly 610000 death occurs due to CVD and 7.35 million hesrt attack in US as per CDC report.This prevalent in both men and women at the same rate.The non Hispanic blacks and whites contribute to nearly 23.8% of death due to CVD.

Modifiable risk factors are one which can be stopped and thus help yo prevent cardiovascular diseases

For e.g., Smoking is a modifiable factor ,stopping this can greatly reduce and prevent cardiovascular diseases

Non modifiable risk factors are one which cannot be stopped, treated or will be a secondary cause to heart disease or due to any medical conditions

For e.g. Diabetes is a non modifiable risk factor,where the risknof heart disease are common
