Precautions while having increased intake of fibet rich diet
- Drink more water:
As fiber rich diet absorbs more water , there are chances for dehydration. To avoid dehydration a person should drink more water.
- changes in digestion
some people may experience bloating, diarrhoea and indigestion with increases fiber rich diet. A proper mix of soluble fibre rich diet( peas, oats) and insoluble fiber rich food( wheat, vegetables) may relieve the symptoms. Until then one should not increase the amount of fiber in the diet further..
- hindrance in the absorption of Calcium and certain drugs also can be caused by fiber rich diet. Divide the total amount of fiber into four times in a day . Don't take the total amount at once.
