There are various disorders e which causes due to water polution. These diseases are- Typhoid, diarrhea, dysentry.

Typhoid

Typhoid is one of the disease which spred through the poluted water.

Causative agent is salmonella typhi , generally found in polluted water. Mode of transmission is oro-fecal route.

spread when person directly contacted with infected feces which carries causative agent.

sign and symptoms of typhoid are-

1. high grade fever
2. abdominal pain
3. nausea and vomiting
4. headache
5. weakness
6. loss of appetite
7. constipation

Preventive measures are

1. Vaccination- take Typhoid vaccine 2 weeks prior ,before traveling to high risk area.
2. Prevention of infection-

• wash hand before and after eating.
• wash hand after defication with soap.
• use boiled water for drinking purpose.
• avoid street food.
• avoid use of drinking water from the unhygenic place.
• don't eat fruit without proper wash.
• dont eat the peel of vegetables.
