3. How nursing have an impact on finance in the workplace?

Nurses are born to save the life's of people those who are ill. They represents the largest portion of workers in the healthcare services. They give care to those who are ill and also provide continuous direct care for both the hospital level and community level patients. In a shift, they may have lots of interventions to complete for their patients before their shifts get completed. Because of staff shortage and insufficient pays, quality care is lacking in most of the patient care and it is now a big issue. Nurses are very well trained in their field of taking care of patients, critical thinking and assessment of patients, but it is very hard for them to make think in a statistical point of view. However, nurses can have an impact on finance if these staff shortage is cleared. Then they will work for the hospital's fame and fortune, absenteeism or employee turnover will get reduced and patient quality care will be improved. By doing this, more patients can be attracted to the hospital because of quality care by the nurses. Moreover, sufficient pay for their work can attract more skilled nurses for the job.

4. Ethical issues are difficult, but understanding the law and implementing based on the law, a healthcare policy can help to avoid issues that arise in the workplace. Developing a healthcare policy should be supported and needed a steady and cautious approach. The most common ethical issues that would arise when proposing and implementing a healthcare policy would be,

a) conflict of interest

b) employment discrimination

c) harassment in the workplace

d) insecurity in the workplace

e) lack of fund to propose health policy.

4. These ethical issues can be reduced by

a) supporting a leadership style of team work in the workplace.

By evaluating a workplace with a leader in a hospital, quality of care can be improved. The leader should give opportunities for every team members to vomit their ideas or opinion for the better outcome. This, by hearing all suggestions, the leader can able to reduce the conflict between the workers. Secondly, by giving them task to complete, each employee would do as much as they can to complete their task in time. So productivity in the workplace increases. Therefore, discrimination in the workplace and insecurity in the workplace will drastically reduce.
