Nurses are born to save the life's of people those who are ill. They represents the largest portion of workers in the healthcare services. They give care to those who are ill and also provide continuous direct care for both the hospital level and community level patients. In a shift, they may have lots of interventions to complete for their patients before their shifts get completed. Because of staff shortage and insufficient pays, quality care is lacking in most of the patient care and it is now a big issue. Nurses are very well trained in their field of taking care of patients, critical thinking and assessment of patients, but it is very hard for them to make think in a statistical point of view. However, nurses can have an impact on finance if these staff shortage is cleared. Then they will work for the hospital's fame and fortune, absenteeism or employee turnover will get reduced and patient quality care will be improved. By doing this, more patients can be attracted to the hospital because of quality care by the nurses. Moreover, sufficient pay for their work can attract more skilled nurses for the job.
