Answer: The contributing cause for the tuberculosis is the alcohol consumption. The excessive alcohol consumption causes damange to the immune system and hence the immune system gets weaken. This lead to increase the risk of the disease development.

Some other factor is the age, due to age people can easily get contracted tuberculosis, might be the patient was in contact toin the patient having tuberculosis.

In long term treatment of the tuberculosis, the medicines are given in combination and hence to know they are working or having action on the tuberculosis disease is that some people may develop jaundice, skin rashes etc. The other test includes the MRI where clear image of the lungs can be seen and the affected areas and improvement.

Nurse should teach patient regarding the medicine that he should not miss or leave the drugs. He should always take medicines on time. Because bacteria can become resistant to the drug therapy if the course of the drug is not completed.
