If you check data , patient has a very bad habits due to which he is affected with the lot of disease. As we know that COPD is a disease who majorly affect your lungs and pulmonary system. It is very chronic disease and difficult to treat with patient who has other major disorder.
Here already patient have a mental disorder and as per research study mental illness is depend on your history also. Though COPD directly will not affect mental illness but it is definitely that this disease may worse his symptoms like mood alteration, shouting , or no talk , patient non compliance. Because in this condition patient is unable to inhel oxygen due to which so much irritation persist in a patient and finally results in severe mental illness.
