According to my opinion i prefer quantitative research.
Quantitative research is used to quantify the problem by way of generating numerical data or data that can be transformed into usable statistics. It is used to quantify attitudes, opinions, behaviours and other defined variables.
It also depend on the data collection method-I would like to choose ordinal and interval data's from a large number of samples and also it is non-experimental.

You have been given the task of conducting a research study of academic dishonesty and cheating at your school. You have learned about different types of research you might pursue in a sociological study. For your discussion response, write 200-300 words answering the following questions: What approach Would you take to conduct this research? • Would you rely primarily on a quantitative or qualitative approach? What are your reasons for making these choices?
Compare and contrast effective studying and cramming. Discuss academic dishonesty and its consequences. Why would an instructor assign an open-book exam? What types of things should you pay attention to if you are taking an open-book exam?
Do you think academic dishonesty should be handled differently in computer programming classes than in other subjects? If so, how? If not, why not?
post a preliminary outline about a proposed methodology for a research problem. If you were to move to full implementation, how would you collect and analyze the data? Would your study be qualitative or quantitative and why?
Theory in Research and EBP If you were going to conduct a research study about factors that contribute to adolescents’ body image and self-esteem: 1. For what terms will you need conceptual and operational definitions? 2. What empirical indicators would be appropriate? 3. Can you identify an appropriate theoretical framework or model to use? 4. Do you expect to use a deductive, an inductive research, or mixed method approach? 5. What findings might you project? 6. How will your study contribute...
Think back to a time in your life when you were faced with a critical decision. Describe what your decision was, and the approach you took to making it. Did you use a systematic approach? Was it a qualitative or quantitative approach? What was the outcome good or bad? In retrospect, would you consider it a good decision? Why? Would you approach the decision in a different way after learning about some of the tools and techniques in this course?l
Please explain how you would process data using a mixed method approach (qualitative and quantitative) for analysis and presentation of the study?
A researcher is interested in the relationship between students’ participation in tutorials and academic achievement. She states the following hypothesis in the description of her study: Students who participate in tutorials that emphasise critical thinking skills will score higher on measures od academic achievement and self-esteem than students who participate tutorials that emphasise rote memorisation. Identify the variables in this study. What would be good names for the variables? Identify the independent variable(s) and dependent variable(s). Describe how each variable...
do you think a quantitative and qualitative study could be conducted at the same time? Why or why not.
