Answer: One of the item that contains whole grain that provide carbohydrates that gives energy is Whole grain or whole wheat bread. It contains carbohydrates that provides energy. Carbohydrates is essential as it provides energy. The whole grain bread includes all the grains, kernels, endosperm etc of wheat. Beans also contains fibres, protein and carbohydrates.

The function of the whole grain bread is to keep us full for longer period of time as well as provides energy to the body. It also provides protein, vitamins. It is an antioxidant which keeps us healthy.

The benefits includes such as it reduces the risk of obesity, high amount of fibres prevent us from hunger feeling. It reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes.
