I would like to know how you managed to learn about sex.

Have you undergone formal schooling and if so, what have you learned about? Was the teaching precise and comprehensive?
Have you learned from your parents about sex? Friends or the media? ⠀
What kind of sex lessons did you wish you had?
And how would you like your existing children to become educated on sex (when or if you have children)?

Coming from a very conservative country, learning about sex is a very difficult thing. If we try to talk to our parents we would be either scolded or bitten and would be asked to feel ashamed of ourselves. If there is anyt kind of advertisement or any sex involvement programmes in the televisions, the channels would be changed as soon as possible. If we try to talk to our friends it would be a flow of shyness and shame seen all over our faces. We had a subject of health education in our 8th grade and the teachers while teaching would skip as much informations as possible. We being teenagers never got a chance to learn about sex and it's significance. Later when the time changes and everything evolved, the education about sex had started to rise due to various different problems being faced by teenage girls and boys hence the education had started becoming a must in the society. Now we can learn about it in our books televisions , from parents and teachers.

I learnt about sex from my teacher after I joined my undergraduate degree.

I have never underwent the formal schooling related to sex and even in today's era the education related to sex are thought to be inappropriate. I wish we had a very precise and explainable kind of sex education where we would be taught about what are the advantages and disadvbantadiof having sex, usage of various safety measures and in India most importantly about teenage pregnancy and early marriage.

I would like our future generations to learn about it as soon as they hit their teenage. It should be in a fun way and not in a shy or shameful manner. They should learn that the education is for their betterment and for their knowledge to be utilized.
