The Wintel, Inc., a design firm, would like to incorporate a new Intel Duo processor as a part of designing a new computer system. From the standpoint of QFD, this processor will be:


a. house of quality.


In order to satisfy your customers, you need a special tool called quality function deployment or QFD. QFD is a method of carefully listening to the voice of the customer and then provide a solution to their needs and expectations. QFD is a matrix of seven management and planning tools to find out and prioritize customers' needs effectively. The matrix is commonly known as house of quality.


The Wintel Inc., would like to incorporate a new intel Duo processor as a part of designing a new computer system. From the standpoint of QFD, this processor will be a house of quality, because it fulfills the requirements of customers by providing them better functionalities than a single processor.
