Ans. 15. The tree pruners sometimes add wound paints or dressing to the cut end of a remaining branch. It is done to prevent the infection from the microbes. It also prevent the wound part from rot and help the wound part to heal easily and rapidly. If the microbes such as bacteria, fungi and other microbes infect the wounded part , the infection can be easily transmitted to other plants. So to prevent all the epidemic , prunned plants, are painted with wound paints.
